YBhg. Datuk M Noor Azman bin Taib, General Secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) representing YB Dato’ Sri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, Caretaker of the Minister of Housing and Local Governments has officiated the Launching Ceremony of the Night Market Transformation Program (PTPM) at Kelantan State level located at Pasar Malam Jalan Kweng Umat, Machang, Kelantan on 14 October 2022.

For information, YAB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob has announced a RM25 million allocation for the implementation of the Night Market Transformation Program (PTPM) during the Opening Ceremony of the National Night Market Transformation Program (PTPM) in Putrajaya on 3 December 2021. The implementation is carried out in stages involving 50 night market sites across the country starting in 2022.

KPKT continues to be committed to further strengthen the level of the management efficiency of night markets/ daily markets/ farmer's markets by PBT towards the provision of sustainable municipal services in line with the aspirations of "Malaysia Berdaya Huni" or "Liveable Malaysia".

The ceremony was also attended by YM Dato' Dr. Tengku Mohamed Faziharudean bin Tengku Feissal (Tengku Kaya Perkasa), Deputy Secretary of the Kelantan State Government (Development), Dato' Haji Noor-Ihsan bin Haji Che Mat, Director General of the Local Government Department and Tuan Nik Mohd Hasanuddin bin Nik Hussain, Chief of Machang Colony, Kelantan.
